Motorcyclist dead after Wednesday morning collision with truck on SR95

Update 2:01 p.m.: The motorcyclist involved in the collision on Wednesday morning has been pronounced deceased, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Media Relations Specialist Bart Graves confirmed the tragic outcome, noting that no other injuries were reported from the incident. The crash, which occurred at approximately 6:31 a.m., involved a pickup truck and a motorcycle.

Initially, the motorcyclist was reported to be “alert” and able to converse at the scene. However, they later experienced shortness of breath and were transported to Havasu Regional Medical Center, where they succumbed to their injuries.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is currently ongoing, with authorities working to piece together the events leading up to the crash.

Earlier reports indicated that one individual was left in critical condition following the incident. Lake Havasu City Fire Chief Pete Pilafas stated that emergency services were dispatched shortly after the crash, which took place near Anderson Chrysler on State Route 95.

An ambulance and two fire engines responded to the emergency. One patient was subsequently transported to the hospital in critical condition.
