Moonlight Ridge Celebrates Grand Opening with Its First Home Contract

On April 12, 2025, Maricopa’s newest subdivision, Moonlight Ridge, marked its grand opening with a successful event that saw its first home sold. Situated at the northwest intersection of State Route 238 and Green Road, the subdivision is part of an ongoing development that began in 2021.
The opening featured food, activities, and a vibrant atmosphere that appealed to potential homeowners. D.R. Horton sales representative Shailey Ringenbach noted, “One of my coworkers is writing up the first contract right now, so it’s going well.” Families participated in face painting, while food trucks catered to the crowd.
Construction of Moonlight Ridge has progressed to the point where approximately two dozen homes are in various stages of completion. The first phase, dubbed “Telesto at Moonlight,” consists of homes designed to be both attractive and functional.
“It’s going to be the hottest community in Maricopa,” Ringenbach stated. She credited its appeal to both the amenities offered and its strategic location.
The homes will vary between three to five bedrooms, with sizes ranging from 1,300 to nearly 2,100 square feet. Prices start at $330,000, making them accessible for a range of buyers.
Each residence features upscale finishes, including wood tile flooring, soft-close cabinets, and glass shower enclosures, enhancing their overall appeal. Ringenbach emphasized that the community amenities stand out as significant selling points.
The subdivision plans to include a community pool, sand volleyball, and pickleball courts, among other recreational facilities. “It’s going to be such a stunning community,” Ringenbach added, expressing excitement about the comprehensive amenity center.
While the model home on Dusk Lane is the only finished structure at this stage, many homes are expected to be ready for move-in by June. The model is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and interested buyers can reach the sales team at 480-780-2171.
