Mobile clinic provides accessible healthcare

Nourish Phoenix (NourishPHX) has initiated a partnership with Valleywise Community Health Center to enhance healthcare access for low-income residents of Phoenix. Starting this month, the Valleywise Health Mobile Clinic will make monthly visits to the nonprofit organization, offering free medical services to its clients.

The next mobile clinic visit is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 501 S. 9th Ave., Phoenix. The clinic features two exam rooms and a lab station, providing various services including physical exams, women’s health care, well-child checks, health screenings, sports physicals, immunizations, and both PrEP and HIV testing.

This year, NourishPHX has notably expanded its services, assisting over 24,000 individuals—a 22 percent increase from 2022, averaging about 300 people daily. Clients benefit from essential resources such as nutritious food boxes, clothing, hygiene kits, medical services, and workforce development programs aimed at improving their quality of life.
