Missing Arizona Teenager Predicted to Be on the Road with 29-Year-Old, Headed to New Mexico

AVONDALE, Ariz. — The Avondale Police Department is actively searching for a missing endangered teenager, Destiny Jasmine Renee Bateman, who is believed to be traveling with a 29-year-old man, Isaac Martin.
Bateman, 16, was last seen at her home near Buckeye and El Mirage roads around 1 a.m. on November 3. A family member reported her disappearance shortly thereafter.
According to authorities, Bateman may have left with Martin, a family friend, raising concerns for her safety. Her mother, Misty Milleman, expressed deep distress: “I woke up to a nightmare. I love you so much. Please come home.”
Bateman took her Bible and left goodbye letters for her family, including one note saying farewell to her mother. At approximately 8:50 a.m., her family received a text indicating she was heading toward New Mexico and was near the Arizona border.
“We don’t know where they went from there,” said Carlos Chavez, Bateman’s father. Police believe Martin is driving a silver 2016 Buick Encore with Arizona license plate BEA0TX.
Surveillance and phone records indicate they were last seen traveling north of the Four Corners area. Milleman made a desperate plea for her daughter’s return, stating, “I’m begging you, bring her home. She’s my everything.”
Bateman is described as 5 feet tall, weighing 110 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes. When she was last seen, she wore a black hat inscribed with “street life,” a black hoodie-style sweater, and gray pajama pants with a teddy bear print.
Martin is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 235 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. There are allegations that he may be involved in kidnapping.
