MIKID has had ‘great success’ within community thanks to ARPA funds

MIKID, also known as Mentally Ill Kids In Distress, has utilized funds from the American Rescue Plan Act to enhance its crisis prevention training programs. Through these rounds of training, MIKID aims to equip caregivers and community members with essential skills to manage challenging situations effectively.

The initiative demonstrates a commitment to supporting families and improving mental health outcomes for children in distress. By leveraging federal funding, MIKID seeks to expand its reach and impact within the community.
