Metro District Recap: Exciting Event Offers You Can’t Miss!
Residents of the Northwest Extension Phase II Transit Oriented Community (NWEII TOC) Study Area will have a chance to engage with ongoing planning efforts through a virtual recap session. This session aims to update those who missed the second round of planning related to future developments in the Metro District.
Several community design workshops are set to take place from October 28 to 30. A public celebration, including an open house, will be held at Castles-n-Coasters on October 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. Additionally, an Open House will occur at Phoenix City Hall on November 1 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. The virtual recap of the project is scheduled for November 12 at 6 p.m.
The study area spans from 19th Avenue to 35th Avenue, and from Butler Drive to Peoria Avenue. It centers on communities along the Northwest Extension Phase II Light Rail extension, a key 1.6-mile connection linking Valley Metro’s light rail system at 19th and Dunlap Avenues to the former Metrocenter Mall site in Phoenix.
