Mesa Police on High Alert: Stay Indoors as Manhunt Intensifies

Police in Mesa are currently engaged in an active search for a suspect connected to a recent incident involving a stolen vehicle. The situation escalated from a reported aggravated assault with a firearm, prompting authorities to locate the compromised vehicle.

According to Mesa police, officers from the Phoenix Police Department discovered the stolen vehicle containing three individuals. Two of those individuals were apprehended, while one remains unaccounted for and on the run.

Authorities have established a substantial perimeter in the vicinity of 64th Street and Brown Road as they expand their search efforts. Helicopters are being deployed to assist in locating the escaped suspect.

Residents living nearby are strongly advised to remain indoors and report any suspicious activity to 911. The police are intensifying their efforts, and community vigilance is crucial at this time.
