Meet the Stars of the 2024 All-Friday Night Fever Team!
PHOENIX — Arizona’s high school football scene celebrates its best as the All-Fever Team for 2024 has been announced, highlighting 28 exceptional players representing 25 schools across the state.
As part of the 35th season of Friday Night Fever, Arizona’s premier high school football show, this year’s lineup showcases talent from schools as diverse as those in the Valley, Casa Grande, and Tucson.
The roster comprises 14 players from the 6A level, 10 from 5A, and two each from 4A and 3A, reflecting the competitive spirit across classifications. Remarkably, eight players in this selection have participated in state championship games, with two emerging victorious.
This year only sees one player returning to the All-Fever Team, emphasizing the fresh talent throughout the state.
The spotlight begins with Quarterback Tait Reynolds from Queen Creek. A standout in the Class of 2026, Reynolds led his team to the 6A semifinals, completing 63% of his passes for 2,238 yards and 22 touchdowns, complemented by an impressive 1,426 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns.
Running backs Dylan Hayhurst from Barry Goldwater and Elijah Little from Thunderbird are next. Hayhurst marks his team’s first playoff appearance in 17 years, boasting 2,304 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns. Little, on the other hand, outperformed his peers with 2,346 rushing yards and 36 touchdowns, leading Thunderbird to the 4A quarterfinals.
All-purpose player Kemon Jackson of McClintock demonstrated versatility, contributing 58 receptions for 1,224 yards and 19 touchdowns, as well as rushing for 392 yards and 10 touchdowns, helping his team enjoy one of its best seasons in decades.
The wide receiver class is led by Cooper Perry of Notre Dame Prep, the lone repeat on the team, alongside Gio Richardson from Basha and Dezmen Roebuck from Marana. Despite injuries, Perry achieved 707 yards and 11 touchdowns, confirming his potential as a four-star prospect bound for Oregon. Richardson tallied 929 yards and eight touchdowns, while Roebuck captured attention with 1,131 yards and 14 touchdowns from Tucson.
In the trenches, the offensive linemen category includes Logan Powell from Brophy Prep and Jake Hildebrand from Basha, both securing collegiate commitments and notable accolades. Axel ranking among top 2027 prospects, Hildebrand’s contributions led Basha to the state championship game.
On the defensive line, Hudson Dunn of Liberty shined with 13.5 sacks, earning recognition as the Defensive Player of the Year. Alongside him, Jackson Murray, J.J. Brutus, and Lucas Blumling filled pivotal linebacker roles demonstrating remarkable talent throughout their respective seasons.
Defensive backs such as Rylon Dillard-Allen and Jamar Beal-Goines also received accolades for their defensive prowess, with Dillard-Allen achieving seven interceptions and Beal-Goines playing a vital role in Desert Edge’s championship success.
Special teams also made their mark with kicker Evan Romero from Mesa and punter Gehrig Heil from Arcadia performing consistently throughout the season. Lastly, Devin Murphy of Maryvale earned the returner position, showcasing remarkable ability in kick returns.
The 2024 All-Fever Team not only highlights individual accomplishments but also reflects the extensive talent pool within Arizona’s high school football landscape.
