Meet the Newest Healer at Maricopa Foot & Ankle: A Fresh Face in Podiatry
Dr. Jordan Richardson, pictured in front of the Maricopa Foot & Ankle office, has become a notable figure in podiatric medicine. Richardson, an Arizona State University alumnus, earned his doctorate from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Podiatric Medicine in Pomona, California.
Having grown up in Arizona, he has a deep appreciation for the desert landscape. His medical journey took him to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, where he completed an extensive three-year residency in podiatry, including a certification in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
Throughout his residency, Dr. Richardson gained invaluable experience working alongside leading surgeons and physicians. He trained comprehensively in various areas of podiatric care, including reconstructive diabetic limb salvage, foot and ankle trauma, and sports medicine. This diverse training allows him to offer both conservative and surgical treatment options, always prioritizing his patients’ needs.
Before his medical career, Dr. Richardson amassed a wide range of skills from various professions, including as a veterinary technician, police aide, and home automation specialist. However, his true calling surfaced in the realm of podiatry, where he could dedicate himself to patient care.
When not at work, Dr. Richardson enjoys a rich personal life with his wife and five children. His hobbies include working on cars, cooking, playing the guitar, and enjoying outdoor activities.
