Nandia expressed her anger over the charges brought against the driver, who faced only a misdemeanor, despite his admission of guilt.

In a campaign video, Black criticized what she perceives as a lenient approach to crime under Volkmer’s leadership, declaring a need for a prosecutor who would prioritize public safety. Her endorsement of Miller was strong, advocating for his platform through her social media group focused on justice for DUI victims.

The result of her efforts was clear; Miller won the July 30 primary by a decisive 9-point margin, attracting over 25,000 Republicans disillusioned with current crime management strategies. “Pinal County is finally in safe hands with Brad Miller,” Black stated, encapsulating her campaign’s sentiment.
