Man Stabbed to Death in Brawl at Central Phoenix Motel, Police Confirm

PHOENIX — A man was fatally stabbed during a fight at a central Phoenix motel Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. near 7th Street and McDowell Road, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim on the ground, visibly injured. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after treatment.
Authorities described the deceased as being in his early 50s, though his identity has not yet been released. Preliminary investigations revealed that the man got into a confrontation with another individual in the motel room. Both men reportedly used items from the room as weapons during the altercation, leading to one being stabbed with a sharp instrument.
