Man Discovered Dead in Deer Valley Neighborhood Shocks Community

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department reported a tragic discovery Sunday night in north Phoenix.

Around 6 p.m., officers responded to calls about an injured individual in the Deer Valley area near 39th Avenue and Rose Garden Lane. Upon arrival, they discovered a man with severe trauma who was declared dead at the scene.

The investigation into the man’s death is ongoing, and his identity has not been released at this time.
