Man Beats Woman in Shocking Street Attack After Meeting for Sex

George Bingham, 43, was arrested after reportedly stomping on a woman’s head at the intersection of Porter Road and Smith-Enke Road in Maricopa. This incident occurred six weeks ago, and police made the arrest following a detailed investigation.
On April 3, the victim called for medical assistance, informing dispatchers that she was involved in a domestic violence incident earlier that day. According to released police reports, she had met Bingham, whom she referred to as her “intimate partner,” for sexual reasons. After consuming alcohol, an altercation ensued in a vehicle at the intersection.
Traffic cameras captured the incident at approximately 2 a.m. Officers reviewing the footage observed a verbal dispute outside the car, which escalated when Bingham allegedly struck the victim in the face.
The video evidence revealed a chaotic scene where the woman confronted Bingham, subsequently removing his shirt and throwing a drink at him. After she entered the car, she hurled another object, prompting Bingham to follow her outside, where he reportedly hit her multiple times.
During the struggle, the victim’s pants fell, causing her to fall face-first onto the pavement. As she attempted to shield her head with her arms, Bingham allegedly began to punch and stomp on her head. When she turned over, he reportedly kicked her in the face.
The victim found an opportunity to escape as Bingham paused to retrieve a shoe that had slipped off during the attack. He then fled the scene in his vehicle.
Bingham was apprehended in Mesa and taken to the Pinal County jail on Tuesday, 40 days after the alleged assault. He faces charges of aggravated assault and endangerment, both connected to domestic violence allegations.
If convicted, he could serve a two-year prison sentence.
