Man Arrested After Pulling Gun at Wingstop

A man has been arrested after allegedly threatening patrons at a Wingstop location.

On June 19, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Maricopa Police received reports of an armed individual making threats at the Wingstop in the Edison Pointe shopping center along John Wayne Parkway.

Officers located the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Byran Barcell, at nearby Dignity Health Urgent Care. He was taken into custody without resistance. Witnesses observed law enforcement surrounding Barcell, who was handcuffed on a bench outside the facility, wearing a hat from the animated series Gravity Falls.

Police later confirmed that a firearm was recovered at the scene.

Barcell faces multiple felony charges and has been booked into Pinal County Jail.
