On January 25, Lura Turner Homes will celebrate its 16th annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser at Madison Baptist Church, located at 6202 N. 12th St. in Phoenix. This year’s event features the folk and country duo Fresh Apples, comprising guitarist-mandolinist “Doc” Rolland and guitarist-songwriter Meryl Brown.
Seating will occur at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tickets are priced at $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under if purchased in advance. At the door, prices increase to $25. Attendees can also browse collectibles and original artwork for sale from Hidden Treasures Antiques, alongside sports memorabilia offerings. Proceeds from the event will benefit adults with developmental disabilities who reside at Lura Turner Homes, which is entering its 60th year of service to Phoenix’s special needs community.
