Lori Vallow Daybell Trial: Day 6 LIVE Updates on the Murder Conspiracy Drama

The second week of testimony in Lori Vallow Daybell’s murder conspiracy trial commenced on Monday, featuring crucial state witnesses. One of these witnesses includes a Chandler detective who interviewed Vallow Daybell following the death of her former husband, Charles Vallow.
As day six of the trial approaches on Tuesday, Vallow Daybell stands accused of conspiring with her brother to murder Charles Vallow. She has pleaded not guilty and is defending herself in court.
The week started with significant testimonies, including from a Special Agent of the Social Security Administration who investigated Vallow Daybell for alleged fraud, as well as an insurance agent who interacted with her after she discovered she was not the beneficiary of her husband’s life insurance policy.
During her questioning, Detective Cassandra Ynclan recounted Vallow Daybell’s unusual demeanor on July 11, after Charles was shot by her brother in her home. Ynclan emphasized the alarming nature of the incident, stating, “Her demeanor seemed odd given what was going on at the house that day.”
Throughout the session, Vallow Daybell raised several inquiries regarding her behavior and the circumstances surrounding her husband’s death. She inquired if she had been cooperative and questioned the circumstances of her and her children during police interviews.
The trial began with a podium crowded with media and public audience members waiting to gain entry. Court proceedings are expected to resume shortly with further witness testimonies.
BACKGROUND: Charles Vallow was fatally shot in Chandler in the summer of 2019. His death marked the beginning of a series of unsettling events involving others associated with Lori Vallow Daybell. In a separate case, she has already been convicted in Idaho for the murders of her children, Tylee and JJ, along with her involvement in the death of Tammy Daybell, the first wife of her current husband, Chad Daybell. Both she and Chad Daybell are now facing serious legal repercussions stemming from these crimes.
Vallow Daybell was extradited to Arizona earlier this year following her convictions in Idaho. Notably, her brother Alex Cox cannot be charged in this case due to his death in December 2019, preceding the formal charges.
