Lizzie Walker Shines with Hat Trick, Claims ACCAC Player of the Week Award

Pima Community College women’s soccer player Lizzie Walker, hailing from Canyon del Oro High School, has garnered recognition for her impressive performance on the field. The ACCAC has named her Division II Player of the Week for the period of August 25-31.

In a remarkable series of games, the Aztecs outscored their opponents a staggering 10-0. Walker contributed significantly, netting two goals in a decisive 4-0 victory over Chandler-Gilbert Community College and adding another in a commanding 6-0 win against Paradise Valley Community College.

This strong start to the season sees the Aztecs boasting an impressive goal differential of 19-1 after just four matches. The team will look to maintain their momentum when they travel to face GateWay Community College on Saturday. That game is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m. at Mesa Community College.
