LeBron James’ Youngest Son Bryce Picks University of Arizona for 2025 Season

TUCSON, Ariz — Bryce James, the 17-year-old son of NBA star LeBron James, has officially committed to play basketball at the University of Arizona starting in 2025. He shared the announcement through his Instagram account on Wednesday.
This decision follows a hint posted over a month ago when he was photographed wearing a U of A jacket. LeBron James expressed his excitement by congratulating his son with a heartfelt message: “CONGRATULATIONS MAXIMUS!! SO PROUD OF YOU!!”
Standing tall at 6’6″, Bryce is poised to contribute to the Wildcats’ roster. The University of Arizona’s men’s basketball team recently concluded the 2023-2024 season with a commendable record of 27-9. With Bryce’s commitment, he becomes the second addition to coach Tommy Lloyd’s 2025 recruiting class, joining five-star recruit Dwayne Aristode.
Bryce follows in the footsteps of his older brother, Bronny James, who played one season at USC before entering the professional arena. Bronny was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, making history as the first father-son duo to play together in an NBA game.
