PHOENIX — Residents in Arizona will experience below normal temperatures today, with breezy conditions predominating. Tonight plunges many areas into freezing temperatures, particularly in the lower desert regions.

As the week progresses, a warming trend is expected to unfold, bringing more stable weather. However, tonight marks one of the coldest points of the week.

Looking ahead, unsettled weather is anticipated this coming weekend, leading to another drop in temperatures next week.

The seven-day forecast indicates temperatures starting at a cool 61°F on Tuesday, dipping to around 36°F overnight. Wednesday sees a chilly 67°F high with a low of 41°F. By Thursday, conditions will improve slightly to 70°F and 42°F, respectively. Friday and Saturday will maintain mild temperatures, reaching 72°F and 73°F. However, a slight chance of rain emerges for Sunday, with highs around 66°F and lows of 44°F. By Monday, temperatures drop to 65°F with partly cloudy skies.
