Kiley Sours-Miller's double-double average earns ACCAC Division II Player of the Week

Pima Community College’s Kiley Sours-Miller demonstrated remarkable performance during the opening week of ACCAC conference play from November 17-23. The freshman post player has garnered the title of ACCAC Division II Player of the Week for the second time this season, previously winning the honor for the week of November 3-9.

Contributing significantly to her team’s success, Sours-Miller played a pivotal role in the Aztecs’ 2-0 start, which included victories over Phoenix College and Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Throughout the two games, she averaged an impressive 20.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game, alongside 2.0 blocks, 1.0 steal, and 1.0 assist, all while playing a total of 40 minutes. Her shooting was particularly efficient, connecting on 61% of her attempts with a field goal tally of 19 for 31.

On the season, Sours-Miller has participated in six games, boasting an average of 19.7 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Her shooting accuracy stands at an impressive 67.5%. The Aztecs are set to take the court again at their home West Campus Aztec Gymnasium on Wednesday, facing off against South Mountain Community College. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5:30 p.m.
