Former gubernatorial candidate Karrin Taylor Robson has responded to a recent report from 12News’ Braham Resnick concerning the ‘Future Freedoms PAC,’ which is injecting funds into Arizona elections with the goal of flipping the state legislature to Democratic control. Robson urged supporters to join her Arizona PAC in opposition to this movement.

In her statement, Taylor Robson warned that Democratic success in the legislature could lead to significant changes detrimental to Arizona. “We could see higher taxes, more regulations, open borders, and rising crime,” she stated. She emphasized, “This is not what Arizonans stand for, and I will keep fighting to protect the state we know and love.”

The Arizona PAC, established in 2023, is co-led by Taylor Robson and Tucson philanthropist Jim Click. Its mission, according to the official website, is to “maintain and grow the Republican majorities in the Arizona legislature.” The PAC articulated specific concerns regarding the influence of outside interests aiming to shift Arizona’s political landscape.

In a statement, the PAC asserted, “Arizona has benefited from decades of conservative leadership and conservative policies. A low-tax, low-regulatory environment has fostered a business-friendly and pro-family atmosphere.” The message stressed that these priorities are at risk if left-leaning policies gain traction.

Taylor Robson faced a setback in the 2022 gubernatorial primary when she lost to Kari Lake, who subsequently fell to Democrat Katie Hobbs in a contentious election marked by months of legal disputes. Following her primary defeat, Robson endorsed both Lake and Donald Trump as the 2024 elections approach.

In a recent discussion with the New York Post, Robson responded to critics of her endorsements by framing the political landscape as a stark choice: “It’s a binary choice. It’s Donald Trump or Kamala Harris.” She reiterated her opposition to the Democratic approach, stating, “I do not subscribe at all to Kamala Harris’s vision for America.”

Robson also criticized Democratic Senate nominee Ruben Gallego, highlighting what she perceives as a shift in his political stance: “He has been a member of the Progressive Caucus throughout his career until he decided to run for the U.S. Senate.”
