Investigation Underway in Fatal South Phoenix Shooting

PHOENIX — A shooting incident on Saturday night in South Phoenix has left one man dead and a woman hospitalized with severe injuries. The Phoenix Police Department reported the incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. near 7th and Southern avenues.

Upon arrival, officers discovered both victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services transported them to a local hospital, where the man succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the woman remains in critical condition, as stated by authorities.
