Investigation Launched as Man Discovered Dead in Phoenix Park

A man was discovered dead in Cave Creek Park on Saturday morning, prompting an investigation by Phoenix police.

Authorities responded to a report of an injured individual near 23rd Avenue and Larkspur Drive. This location is just northwest of the intersection of 19th Avenue and Cactus Road, adjacent to Shaw Butte.

Upon arrival, officers located the deceased man and contacted detectives to further investigate the circumstances surrounding the death.
