Investigation Launched After Woman Discovered Deceased in Avondale’s Dry Wash

AVONDALE, Ariz. — Avondale police are investigating the death of a woman found in a dry wash on Monday morning. The grim discovery was made by a landscaping crew at approximately 8:40 a.m. near the intersection of Garden Lakes Parkway and Orange Blossom Lane.

According to reports, the crew immediately contacted authorities after spotting the body. Police have yet to identify the woman or release further details about the circumstances surrounding her death.
