Infant Succumbs to Heat Complications at Lake Havasu; Authorities Consider Criminal Charges

Investigation into the tragic death of a four-month-old infant, Tanna Wroblewski, has prompted the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office to refer the case to the county attorney for possible negligent homicide charges.
The infant succumbed to “complications of environmental heat exposure” after being on a boat during extreme temperatures over the Fourth of July weekend in 2024. The incident occurred on July 5, when the baby was transported from the lake to the Lake Havasu Regional Medical Center.
Historical data indicates that temperatures reached a staggering 120 degrees that day. Following treatment, the infant was transferred to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, where she later died.
The family’s GoFundMe page, established in memory of Tanna, has since been taken down as they process this devastating event.
