Iconic Children’s Favorites to Shine in 2025 Stamp Tribute
SAN FRANCISCO — The United States Postal Service is set to release two new stamp sets in 2025, celebrating beloved children’s media. The “Goodnight Moon” and “SpongeBob SquarePants” collections are anticipated to delight fans of all ages.
Margaret Wise Brown’s classic, “Goodnight Moon,” first published in 1947, will feature prominently in one of the sets. This cherished bedtime story, illustrated by Clement Hurd, has captured the hearts of readers for decades. The stamp pane includes 16 stamps depicting eight memorable pages from the book.
The other set features the iconic animated character “SpongeBob SquarePants,” a household name since his debut in 1999. Created by Stephen Hillenburg, the series follows SpongeBob and his eclectic group of friends navigating life in Bikini Bottom. The show’s humor has garnered a diverse fanbase that spans generations. This stamp collection also includes 16 stamps, showcasing four unique images, two of which prominently feature SpongeBob alongside Patrick.
These stamps are part of a larger series of releases planned throughout the year. Customers can purchase these items via the USPS website, select post offices, or through the USPS Officially Licensed Collection on Amazon.
