I-10 Westbound Finally Reopens in Eloy After Major Closure

ELOY, Ariz. — The Arizona Department of Transportation has announced that the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 are now open in Eloy following an extended closure due to a crash. Traffic was backed up for several hours after the accident occurred at milepost 208.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed that a semi-truck was involved in the crash. While the lanes are now clear, motorists were initially diverted to the shoulder as crews worked to address the situation.
