Heroic Rescue: Eloy Fire Department Saves Stranded Puppy from Air Vent

A toddler placed the small dog in an air vent and by the time the family realized what happened, they couldn’t reach the poor pup.

ELOY, Ariz. — It’s not every day you rescue a puppy from underneath a house — but now one Arizona firefighter can put it on her resume!

Eloy firefighters were called to a local home because a toddler had placed a small puppy in an air vent and the family couldn’t retrieve the poor pup. One firefighter bravely made her way underneath the home and located the small dog, pulling off the rescue!

The puppy was uninjured and the family was happily reunited with the family.

“This situation was resolved with a happy ending, but we have to share our lesson of the day: Don’t put dogs in air vents!!!” the Eloy Fire Department said in a post on Facebook.
