Cops’ fire extinguishers save the day in Glennwilde

Maricopa, AZ — In a coordinated response last night, Maricopa police and the Fire and Medical Department successfully extinguished a debris fire that threatened a home in Glennwilde. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on the 18200 block of North Tara Lane.

Police officers arrived on scene prior to firefighters and quickly deployed their extinguishers to combat a “pile of material stacked up near the home which caught fire,” as reported by city public safety spokesperson Monica Williams. Their prompt action played a crucial role in preventing substantial damage to the property.

Shortly thereafter, the Maricopa Fire and Medical Department continued efforts to contain the blaze. The fire was extinguished without any reported injuries, showcasing effective teamwork among local emergency responders.
