Hello Spring! Soak Up the Sunshine as Temps Soar to a Cozy 82 Degrees

PHOENIX — Spring has arrived in the Valley, bringing warmer temperatures and a sunny forecast. This weekend, highs are expected to reach the mid to upper 80s, with temperatures pushing into the 90s next week.
While hitting 90 degrees isn’t uncommon for late March, it could signal a potential record-setting period. Typically, low 80s characterize this time of year in Phoenix, making the projected upper 90s notable.
Historically, the earliest Phoenix has recorded 100 degrees was on March 26, 1988. This year, temperatures are likely to approach that milestone.
Here’s a look at the seven-day forecast:
THURSDAY: High of 82°F, low of 50°F, mainly sunny.
FRIDAY: High of 85°F, low of 54°F, sunny and warmer.
SATURDAY: High of 88°F, low of 57°F, scattered clouds.
SUNDAY: High of 89°F, low of 60°F, mostly sunny and warm.
MONDAY: High of 94°F, low of 61°F, record setting potential with a previous high of 94°F in 1990.
TUESDAY: High of 97°F, low of 65°F, could potentially break the 2022 record of 96°F.
WEDNESDAY: High of 96°F, low of 67°F, sunny and hot, with a record high of 100°F from 1988 on the horizon.
