Havasu man faces felony charge in third domestic violence arrest this year

A Lake Havasu City man faces new felony charges following his third domestic violence arrest in nine months. Bryant R. Lamore, 35, was taken into custody on October 31, facing allegations of aggravated domestic violence and unlawful imprisonment alongside misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

This most recent incident reportedly involved a confrontation with a former romantic partner and occurred despite Lamore being under an existing protection order. His prior arrest in May included an alleged weapon discharge during a conflict with the same victim at his residence.

The latest events unfolded around 5 p.m. on a Friday when officers responded to a disturbance on the 3000 block of Shoshone Drive. A neighbor, asked by the victim to alert authorities in case of trouble, made the call that led to police intervention.

Upon arrival, officers found that Lamore had allegedly forced his way into the victim’s apartment, engaging her in a lengthy argument. Reports indicate that he physically restrained her to prevent her from leaving.

Despite his claims of having been invited to her home, the victim asserted that she had explicitly refused his request. She reportedly told Lamore that it was not a good idea for him to enter her residence, but he disregarded her wishes.

Following the altercation, Lamore surrendered to police at the scene. As of November 1, his case is pending a felony indictment from a Mohave County grand jury, highlighting the ongoing legal challenges he faces regarding domestic violence.
