Havasu man arrested after drive-by shooting at house party on Spirit Lane


A 21-year-old man was arrested in Lake Havasu City on Saturday morning following a reported drive-by shooting at a house party. The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. on Spirit Lane, where witnesses alerted officers to the disturbance.

Authorities arrived at the 1900 block of Spirit Lane after receiving calls about gunfire. Initial investigations revealed that Seth Duda had been ejected from the party but returned with a firearm and allegedly fired multiple shots into the home.

Approximately four hours after the shooting, Duda was taken into custody in the same vicinity. Details regarding the arrest have yet to be disclosed by the police.

Duda faces serious charges, including drive-by shooting, disorderly conduct with a weapon, endangerment, and criminal damage to property. Despite the alarming nature of the incident, no injuries were reported.

Following his initial court appearance, Duda’s bond was set at $150,000. He has since been transferred to the Mojave County Sheriff’s Office and remains in custody.
