Havasu Man in Custody for Threatening Juveniles with Knife and Instigating Fight

A 31-year-old man from Lake Havasu City, Paul Heath, was arrested last week on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct involving a weapon. The incident unfolded at Rotary Park when Heath, who was parked with his girlfriend, began shouting at a juvenile near the skatepark.
According to police reports, Heath attempted to provoke a physical confrontation. After being punched by another individual, he allegedly brandished a knife and pursued the person involved. Following this escalation, Heath and his girlfriend fled the area.
Law enforcement later stopped their vehicle near the intersection of Combat Drive and Lake Havasu Avenue. Officers detained both individuals shortly after the incident. During questioning, Heath claimed he never intended to use the knife but rather employed it as a scare tactic. His girlfriend corroborated that he was intoxicated during the altercation.
After the arrest, Heath was taken to the Lake Havasu City Jail, where he awaits further proceedings.
