Havasu Alert: London Bridge Stairs Remain Off-Limits Following July Damage

The eastern stairs of the London Bridge, located near the London Bridge Resort, remain closed following an accident that occurred over the July 4th weekend.
The incident involved a car losing control and crashing into the bridge railing on McCulloch Boulevard, causing damage to several pillars along the bridge and above the stairs. Since early July, access to the stairs has been restricted.
Lake Havasu City owns and manages the bridge and its surrounding right-of-way.
In response to the incident, repair efforts began promptly, restoring the damaged pillars. However, the barricades surrounding the staircase have remained in place, preventing public access for nearly two months.
