Havasu Alert: Fremont Drive Guardrail Repairs Completed!

A recent tip has led to a timely resolution regarding infrastructure in Lake Havasu City. Following a report in the July 17 edition of Today’s News-Herald, city officials acted on a collapsed guardrail issue that had raised safety concerns.

The guardrail in question, located along Fremont Drive above the intersection of Riviera Parkway and State Route 95, was reported as broken. The need for repair was promptly recognized, prompting immediate action from city authorities.

Jerri Bracamonte, the community engagement officer, confirmed the repair schedule shortly after the issue was reported. Thanks to the efforts of the city, the guardrail has now been successfully replaced, enhancing the safety of that stretch of road.

Control and responsibility over the guardrail and adjoining road fall under the jurisdiction of Lake Havasu City, ensuring local oversight for maintenance and repairs.
