Harbor Freight and More: Permits Granted!

Maricopa’s building activity continues to thrive as new permits for both commercial and residential projects have been issued recently. During the period from September 9 to October 11, a series of noteworthy developments have been authorized.
In the commercial sector, Apex Motor Sports received three tenant improvement permits for garages and a garage condo, with a total estimated value of $130,000. Additionally, Maricopa AZ Investments secured a tenant improvement permit for Harbor Freight, which includes a racking system, valued at $40,000. The Headquarters Café was also granted permission to add a 544-square-foot shade structure, estimated at $18,000. Honeycutt Luxury Rentals was issued nine permits for the construction of garages, shade structures, and carports in the Honeycutt Run area. Lastly, K’Bella Spa & Wellness obtained a permit for a new monument sign at 45004 W. Garvey Ave.
On the residential front, Beazer Homes initiated construction on two new homes in Rancho Mirage. Castlerock Communities followed suit with plans for four homes in the same development. K. Hovnanian Homes is set to build a total of 36 new homes, with 11 in Rancho Mirage and 25 in Santa Rosa Springs. KB Home is also progressing with five homes in Desert Passage, while Lennar is constructing three homes in Anderson Farms. Meritage Homes plans to add nine homes in Rancho Mirage and another 12 in Province, while Pulte Home is working on three homes in Santa Rosa Springs. Richmond American Homes aims to construct 20 homes in The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado, indicating robust growth in the area.
