The next weather system is expected to clear just in time for Thanksgiving festivities.
PHOENIX — On Tuesday, mild weather will blanket Arizona, with valley highs reaching the upper 70s and lower 80s. In the high country, temperatures will range from the 50s to 60s, with Flagstaff forecasted to hit 56 degrees under mostly cloudy conditions.
Expect a mix of clouds and wind, particularly in northern Arizona, where southwest gusts could peak at 40 mph. In lower desert areas, winds may reach 15 mph.
Although the forecast remains primarily dry, light rain and snow showers are possible north of I-40 through Wednesday, with minor accumulations expected.
Thanksgiving Day is set to bring pleasant weather, characterized by abundant sunshine and comfortable temperatures. Valley highs will hover in the mid to upper 70s, while high elevations will see temperatures in the 40s and 50s. The Rim Country is predicted to reach the lower 60s.
