Grand Ave Festival Marks 15 Years of Celebration on November 9

The Grand Ave Festival is set to make its annual return to downtown Phoenix on Saturday, Nov. 9, marking its 15th year of celebration. Running from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., this event is organized by Downtown Phoenix Inc. and the Grand Avenue Members Association.
Initially a grassroots initiative, the festival has evolved into a vibrant street fair that highlights the rich diversity and culture of the Valley’s creative community. The event takes place along historic lower Grand Avenue and emphasizes accessibility, making it a family-friendly gathering with no admission fee. Attendees can expect a dynamic lineup featuring various music acts, live performances, hands-on craft stations, and demonstrations from local artists.
Outdoor art installations will grace the streets, alongside fashion shows and activities for children, such as face painting and balloon artistry. Local merchants will showcase handcrafted goods, while food vendors and food trucks will offer an array of culinary delights. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to explore the eclectic mix of shops and restaurants that characterize the vibrant area.
The festival will stretch along Grand Avenue from 9th to 16th Avenues, which will be closed to vehicle traffic for the event. Limited street parking is available nearby; however, attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or utilize ride-sharing services and public transportation options, like the Valley Metro bus or light rail. Entrance to the festival remains free, and well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome.
