Glendale PD Seeks Hit-and-Run Driver After Woman Left in Critical Condition

GLENDALE, Ariz. — A serious incident occurred early Sunday morning, leaving a woman hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle. The Glendale Police Department reported that the accident happened just after 2 a.m. near 51st and Glendale avenues.

The victim’s fiancé provided officers with details of the event, stating that she was walking alongside her bicycle on 54th Avenue when she was hit from behind by a car.

Emergency responders transported the woman to a nearby hospital, where her condition remains critical.

The police described the vehicle as a “white-colored newer sedan” and emphasized that they are actively seeking both the suspect and the vehicle involved.
