Gilbert Man Unmasked as Bus Stop Pervert Who Shocked 9th-Grade Girl

A 14-year-old female student from Maricopa High School was the victim of an indecent exposure incident reported near the intersection of Bedford Drive and Rancho El Dorado Parkway on Thursday.

The Maricopa Police Department (MPD) quickly initiated an investigation upon learning of the incident. Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Division followed leads, which directed them to an adult male located in Gilbert.

On Friday, MPD contacted the individual, although they stated, “While there was insufficient evidence for an arrest, MPD is working in partnership with the Pinal County Attorney’s Office to see that appropriate criminal charges are filed against the suspect.”

According to the police department, this appears to be an isolated incident. They also emphasized the importance of community vigilance, urging residents to remain aware of their surroundings and to report any suspicious activity promptly.
