Weekend warmup

Temperatures across Arizona are set to rise gradually throughout the weekend, followed by a cooldown early next week.

In Phoenix, residents can expect a weekend filled with sunshine, with valley highs reaching the mid-70s, while the northern high country will see highs in the 50s and 60s, including Flagstaff, which will peak at 57 degrees.

On Sunday, temperatures will continue to rise, with valley highs forecast to hit the lower 80s and high-country areas reaching the 60s.

Veterans Day will bring more sunshine and pleasant weather, with highs in the valley projected to reach the lower 80s, alongside high-country temperatures in the lower 60s.

A weather system approaching from the north early next week is expected to keep Arizona dry but will introduce breezy conditions and lower temperatures. A stronger system is anticipated to move in next weekend, further cooling the state.

  • SATURDAY: 49/76 – Sunny & pleasant
  • SUNDAY: 51/82 – Sunny & warmer

  • TUESDAY: 51/80 – Mostly sunny
