Fundraiser supports workforce development

St. Joseph the Worker (SJW) is set to host its second annual Be the Impact happy hour fundraising event on Friday, Nov. 1, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The venue for the event is The Grove, located at 4300 E. Camelback Road, Suite 100.

This public event features tickets priced at $100, aimed at supporting SJW’s mission to aid unhoused, low-income, and other disadvantaged individuals in their journey toward self-sufficiency through meaningful employment. The organization has set an ambitious fundraising goal of $300,000.

These funds will directly help to prevent and end homelessness for over 6,000 jobseekers by linking them with quality job opportunities and stable housing solutions. Notably, the DFIU Foundation has generously agreed to match $100,000 in donations.
