Hello, North Central neighbors!

The Neighborhood Coalition of Greater Phoenix continues to advocate for residents this month. This organization collaborates with local associations to influence policies that could affect community quality. Their efforts aim to ensure that the voices of residents are heard amid legislative changes.

In a new initiative, Cholla Library has unveiled the MACH Two makerspace. This project, led by dedicated librarians, provides a communal hub for creativity and collaboration. Residents can now gather to “meet, collaborate and build magnificent things together,” fostering innovation and community spirit.

In local highlights, Trudy Thompson Shumaker visited the Family Arts Needlework Shop, a crafting haven since 1967. Meanwhile, real estate broker Keith Grayson is making strides with his Hatcher Road multifamily development, set to debut in 2026. For culinary enthusiasts, Café Chat features Marjorie Rice delving into Puerto Rican culinary traditions at Phoenix Coqui.

This month’s Pet of the Month is the charming Wanda, alongside fellow furry residents Missy and Felix. Additional sections spotlight community events, business developments, dining options, and educational updates. A comprehensive roundup of entertainment opportunities in the Valley is also included.

Enjoy the March issue, filled with insights and stories from our vibrant community.
