Forge Bonds with Your Melrose Neighbors

The Melrose Community Alliance (MCA) is organizing a series of community events designed to foster connection among neighbors in the coming months.
One key event is the Melrose Monthly Happy Hour, occurring regularly on the first Wednesday of each month from 5-7 p.m. The next gathering is scheduled for October 2 at Stacy’s at Melrose, located at 4343 N. 7th Ave. Following this, the November event will take place at Belly Kitchen and Bar on November 6, while the venue for December’s gathering remains to be confirmed.
In addition, October will feature a Halloween event combined with a food drive on Saturday, October 26, from 3-7 p.m. This occasion, hosted by The Royale and the Carnation Association of Neighbors, is supported by MCA. The Royale is situated at 635 W. Glenrosa Ave. A partnership with the Community Church of Hope will help facilitate the food drive.
Looking ahead, residents are encouraged to mark their calendars for the annual Merriment in Melrose on Saturday, December 14. This festive gathering will showcase a tree lighting ceremony in Lyceum Park and also serve as a fundraiser for the MCA.
