Firefighters Spring into Action as Blaze Erupts Southeast of Prescott

YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. — A wildfire has ignited in the Prescott National Forest, prompting a swift response from fire crews. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office has placed areas YCU-2174 and YCU-2216 on ‘SET’ status, signaling potential evacuation measures can be implemented if necessary.
The blaze, named the Brady Fire, is located north of Pine Flats Road. In response to the growing threat, the Groom Creek Fire District indicated that two Large Air Tankers have been requested to assist with firefighting efforts.
