Firefighters Battle Blaze at Rancho Mirage Residence

Maricopa Fire and Medical crews responded to a significant garage fire in Rancho Mirage late on August 14, 2024, at approximately 9:34 p.m. The incident occurred in the 37000 block of San Capistrano Avenue, prompting a multi-agency response.

Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke billowing from the roof and visible flames inside the garage. Crews from Phoenix, Chandler, Goodyear, Sun Lakes, and the Arizona Fire Marshal Association joined Maricopa Fire in tackling the blaze, as reported by Phoenix Regional Dispatch.
