Firefighter Faces Criminal Charges as Agents Raid Arizona Home, Seizing Multiple Devices
CASA GRANDE, Ariz. — Agustin Julian Sauceda, a 38-year-old firefighter from Casa Grande, has been indicted on 15 counts concerning child pornography, according to recent reports. Sauceda, who was employed by the Eloy Fire District and promoted to battalion chief a few years ago, allegedly produced, possessed, and distributed explicit materials featuring minors.
Federal authorities, including Homeland Security, conducted a search of Sauceda’s residence in Pinal County last month. Investigators seized 22 electronic devices during this raid, which led to the indictment citing offenses that reportedly occurred between 2022 and 2024.
The BitTorrent file-sharing network is mentioned as the platform used for distributing the illicit materials. Following the allegations, Sauceda has been placed on administrative leave while the fire department undertakes an internal investigation.
If convicted, Sauceda faces a significant prison sentence, reflecting the serious nature of the charges against him. The case remains under active investigation as authorities seek to uncover further details.
