Fatal Crash in West Phoenix Claims Life of One

PHOENIX — A fatal crash in west Phoenix has resulted in one death, according to the city’s police department. The intersection at 35th and Glendale avenues, where the incident occurred, is currently closed as authorities conduct their investigation.
Police reported that the collision took place just before 6 p.m. on Saturday. First responders from the Phoenix Fire Department extricated two children and one adult from a vehicle. All three were transported to the hospital as a precaution. However, one adult suffered life-threatening injuries and later succumbed to those injuries.
