Changes in weather patterns are expected this weekend, with clouds and rain forecasted, leading to cooler temperatures in the 60s.

PHOENIX — The week ahead promises pleasant, seasonable weather, with sunny skies and temperatures ranging from the 70s to 80s in Phoenix.

However, a weather disturbance is approaching this weekend, bringing rain chances to Arizona from Sunday into Monday. The eastern parts of the state, particularly the White Mountains and Navajo Nation, may even experience snow overnight. In the Phoenix area, isolated and light showers are possible on Sunday afternoon and evening, primarily affecting eastern regions.

Cooler temperatures are on the horizon, with the lower deserts expecting highs in the 60s and the northern areas dipping into the 40s.
