The 63rd Annual Phoenix Greek Festival invites residents to immerse themselves in Hellenic culture from October 11 to 13 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Community Center, located at 1973 E. Maryland Ave. This event promises authentic Greek food, music, and vibrant dance performances.
Festival-goers can indulge in a diverse range of traditional dishes, including gyros, kalamari, and spanakopita. Sweet treats like freshly made baklava and loukoumades will tantalize taste buds. Additionally, attendees can purchase artisanal products like feta cheese and imported Greek wines and liquors from the Village Market.
In entertainment, national award-winning Greek folk dancers will take the stage nearly every hour, while dance lessons will offer everyone a chance to join in on the fun. A variety of international vendors will present jewelry, pottery, and other handcrafted items, enhancing the festival experience. Guided tours of the Holy Trinity Cathedral, with its stunning Byzantine architecture and rich artistry, will also be available.
Proceeds from the festival will support Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral ministries, particularly youth programs that foster community and character development.
